Strawberry Shortcake Bliss Recipe
Ingredients:

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt

2 cups strawberries, sliced
¼ cup sugar (to macerate strawberries)
1 cup whipping cream
2 tbsp confectioners’ sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
For the Strawberry Drizzle:
½ cup strawberry preserves
2 tbsp water
Directions:
Cake Preparation:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
Whisk milk, egg, and vanilla; combine with dry ingredients.
Spread batter in pan and bake 18-20 minutes. Cool on a rack.
Strawberry Topping:
Toss strawberries with sugar; let sit for 30 minutes.
Whipped Cream:
Whip cream with confectioners’ sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
Strawberry Sauce:
Heat preserves and water until syrupy.
Assemble the Shortcake:
Slice cake horizontally. Layer with strawberries and whipped cream.
Add top layer, more cream, and strawberries.
Drizzle with strawberry sauce.
To Serve:
Garnish with whole strawberries and raspberries, dust with powdered sugar.
