Peach Sorbet Recipe
Ingredients:
4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions:
Prepare the Peaches:
Blend the peeled and sliced peaches in a blender until smooth.
Make the Syrup:
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely and the mixture just begins to boil. Remove from heat and let cool.
Mix and Freeze:
Mix the peach puree, cooled syrup, and lemon juice together. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a smooth, creamy consistency.
If you don’t have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a shallow container and freeze. Stir every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals until frozen and smooth.
Serve:
Scoop the peach sorbet into bowls or cones. Garnish with a few fresh peach slices or a sprig of mint for an extra touch of freshness and elegance.
