One-Pan Teriyaki Salmon Delight
Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets
Salt and pepper, to season
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
1 bunch green onions, sliced
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Steamed rice and broccoli, to serve
Directions:
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat and sear the salmon on both sides until golden, about 3 minutes per side.
Remove the salmon and set aside. In the same pan, add soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger, and simmer until the garlic is softened.
Stir in vinegar and the cornstarch mixture until the sauce thickens slightly. Return the salmon to the pan, spooning the sauce over the fillets.
Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked to your liking.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, and serve over steamed rice and broccoli.
