Blackened Steak and Shrimp Alfredo
Ingredients:
For the Blackened Seasoning:
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
For the Dish:

1 lb (450 g) steak (such as ribeye or sirloin), cut into strips
1/2 lb (225 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
8 oz (225 g) fettuccine pasta
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions:

Prepare the Blackened Seasoning:
In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt.
Season the Steak and Shrimp:
Rub the blackened seasoning evenly over the steak strips and shrimp.
Cook the Steak and Shrimp:
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Cook the Pasta:
While cooking the steak and shrimp, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:

In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combine the Ingredients:
Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly. Return the steak strips and shrimp to the skillet, mixing gently to combine.
Serve:
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
