Halloween Sugar Cookie Bars
Get into the spooky spirit with these delightful, easy-to-make Halloween Sugar Cookie Bars that are perfect for any fall gathering!
Ingredients:
– 4 Cups All-Purpose Flour
– 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
– 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
– 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
– 1/2 tsp Cream of Tartar
– 3/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
– 2 Large Eggs
– 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
– 1 Cup Butter, Softened
– 2 TBSP Milk
– 5 TBSP Butter, Softened (for frosting)
– 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
– 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
– 4 Cups Powdered Sugar (for frosting)
– 4-5 TBSP Milk (for frosting)
– 3-4 Drops Orange Food Coloring
– Halloween Sprinkles


Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. In a bowl, mix together the softened butter, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar for 2 minutes.
3. Add the eggs and milk; mix until well combined. Then, slowly incorporate the dry ingredients until just blended.
4. Pour the batter into the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes. Cool before frosting.
5. For the frosting, cream butter and sour cream, then mix in vanilla and powdered sugar. Adjust consistency with milk, add food coloring, and spread on cooled bars with sprinkles.
