Classic English Breakfast with Crispy Potatoes
This hearty breakfast features all the essentials: eggs, sausages, baked beans, crispy potatoes, and toast. It’s a perfect start to any day!

Ingredients:
4 sausages (your choice of pork, beef, or chicken)
4 slices of bread
4 large eggs
1 cup baked beans
4 slices of bacon (optional)
2 medium potatoes, diced
2 tablespoons butter or oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh herbs (like parsley or chives) for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the Sausages:
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.
Fry the Bacon (Optional):
In the same skillet, add the bacon slices and cook until crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
Cook the Potatoes:
Dice the potatoes into small cubes. In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of butter or oil. Once hot, add the diced potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy, about 10-15 minutes. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.
Prepare the Eggs:
In a separate skillet, melt the remaining butter or heat oil over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook sunny-side up, or flip for over-easy, depending on your preference. Season with salt and pepper.
Warm the Baked Beans:
While the eggs are cooking, warm the baked beans in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Toast the Bread:
Toast the bread slices in a toaster or under a broiler until golden brown. Butter the toast if desired.
Assemble the Breakfast:
Divide the sausages, bacon, eggs, crispy potatoes, baked beans, and toast between two plates. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
