Gypsy Rose Blanchard has given birth to a baby girl with her fiancé Ken Urker, one year to the day that she was released from prison.

The new mother was released from prison on December 28, 2023, after serving eight years of a 10-year sentence for her part in the murder of her mother, Clauddine ‘Dee Dee’ Blanchard.
She had been married to Ryan Anderson while behind bars, but the pair split just three months after her release, and she reconciled with her former partner, Ken, shortly afterward.
In the summer, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together, and the pair have confirmed their little girl has now been born.
Ken shared a photo of him and Gypsy Rose with their newborn, telling his followers: “Welcoming 2025 with the greatest gift of all.”
The proud new father told TMZ that Gypsy Rose gave birth on December 28 in Louisiana, and that the couple have named their baby girl Aurora.
The date is particularly poignant as Aurora’s birth was on the one-year anniversary of Gypsy Rose getting her freedom, having lived her early life as a victim of Munchausen by proxy at the hands of her mother, before spending the next eight years incarcerated.
Ken told the outlet: “Aurora is healthy and we are so happy.”
TMZ previously reported that Gypsy Rose had gifted Ken a promise ring after their child’s gender reveal as a symbol of her commitment to their relationship and their love.
She had also undergone a DNA test to prove that Ken was the father of their baby, while undergoing a divorce from Ryan.
The outlet reported that Gypsy Rose and Ryan had reached a settlement in their divorce in early December, with Ryan’s lawyer Jeffrey Carrier saying that his client had not wanted it to go to court and accrue expensive attorney fees.
He added that Gypsy Rose and Ryan had been living apart for six months and it was an uncontested divorce, allowing them to finalize it before the original date of January 2025, meaning it was wrapped up before the baby was born.
Gypsy Rose has yet to share a statement publicly since the birth of her first baby.
