Cheesy Philly Cheesesteak Garlic Bread

Cheesy Philly Cheesesteak Garlic Bread
Ingredients
1 large baguette or French bread loaf
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 onion, thinly sliced
8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter and minced garlic until well combined.
Slice the baguette or French bread loaf in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves.
Place the bread on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
While the bread is baking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the sliced green bell pepper and onion. Cook until softened, about 4-5 minutes.
Remove the bread from the oven and layer the cooked steak, bell pepper, and onion evenly over both halves.
Top with slices of provolone cheese and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Return the bread to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
