Ground Beef Meatloaf with Creamy Mushroom Gravy
Ingredients:
For the Meatloaf:
1 ½ pounds ground beef
1 can cream of mushroom soup (divided)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 large egg
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Gravy:
Remaining half of the cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup water or milk
Instructions:
Prepare the Meatloaf:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, half of the cream of mushroom soup, breadcrumbs, dried minced onion, garlic powder, onion powder, and the egg. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Mix well using your hands or a spoon until everything is fully combined.
Lightly pack the mixture into a loaf pan.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until cooked through.
Make the Gravy:
After removing the meatloaf from the oven, carefully pour the juices from the pan into a small saucepan.
Add the remaining half of the cream of mushroom soup and water or milk. Season with salt and pepper.
Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring continuously, then turn off the heat.
Serve:
Slice the meatloaf and spoon the mushroom gravy over the top before serving.
