Ingredients:
For the Ribs:
2 racks of ribs (about 3-4 lbs each)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup BBQ sauce
For the Salads:
Coleslaw:
1/2 head of green cabbage, shredded
1/4 head of purple cabbage, shredded
2 carrots, shredded
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Garden Salad:
2 cups mixed greens
1 cucumber, sliced
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
Olive oil and vinegar for dressing
Extras:
1 cup pickles
Extra BBQ sauce for dipping
Instructions:
Prepare the Ribs:
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if present.
Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper together. Rub this mixture all over the ribs.
Preheat the grill to medium heat and place ribs on the grill. Cook for about 1-1.5 hours, turning occasionally until cooked through and tender.
