Slow Cooker Barbequed Beef Ribs
Ingredients:
– 1 cup water
– 1 cup ketchup
– 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
– 3/4 cup brown sugar
– 1/2 cup vinegar
– 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
– 1 tablespoon salt
– 2 pounds beef back ribs
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the water, ketchup, tomato paste, brown sugar, vinegar, prepared mustard, and salt to create the barbecue sauce.
2. Place the beef back ribs into the slow cooker, arranging them in a single layer, if possible.
3. Pour the prepared barbecue sauce over the ribs, making sure they are well-coated.
4. Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat easily pulls away from the bone.
5. Once the ribs are done, carefully remove them from the slow cooker and transfer to a serving platter. Spoon some of the remaining sauce over the ribs for extra flavor.
6. Serve hot, paired with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes or coleslaw, and enjoy!
