Spicy Cajun Steak with Creamy Alfredo Pasta
Tender steak strips paired with rich, creamy Alfredo pasta and a spicy Cajun kick.
Ingredients:
– 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), sliced into strips
– 12 oz fettuccine pasta
– 2 cups heavy cream
– 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
– 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
– 2 tbsp butter
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 small onion, diced
– 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
– Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Cook the fettuccine pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the steak strips, season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear the steak until browned, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, sauté the onions and garlic until softened, about 2 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, letting it melt and thicken the sauce, about 3-4 minutes. Season with additional Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
5. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the creamy Alfredo sauce.
6. Top the pasta with the cooked steak strips and garnish with fresh parsley.
7. Serve hot and enjoy the perfect blend of creamy and spicy flavors.
