Grilled Sirloin Brisket with Herb Butter Sauce
Ingredients:
For the Brisket:
2 lbs sirloin brisket (or a cut of your choice)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Herb Butter Sauce:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Marinate the Brisket:
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, fresh rosemary, fresh thyme, salt, and pepper.
Rub this mixture all over the sirloin brisket and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight in the fridge for more flavor).
Grill the Brisket:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Grill the brisket for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches your desired doneness (135°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium). Let the brisket rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Prepare the Herb Butter Sauce:
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic, chopped thyme, and rosemary, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Serve:
Slice the grilled sirloin brisket thinly against the grain and arrange it on a plate.
Drizzle the herb butter sauce over the brisket or serve it on the side for dipping.
