Sizzling Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions

Sizzling Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions
Ingredients:
1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 bell peppers (one red, one green), sliced
1 large onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
1/4 cup beef broth
Salt and pepper to taste
Sesame seeds for garnish
Green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions:

In a bowl, combine the sliced steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the steak in a single layer and sear until browned, about 1-2 minutes per side. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining oil. Sauté onions, bell peppers, garlic, and ginger until vegetables are just tender, about 3-4 minutes.
Return the steak to the skillet. Add beef broth and stir everything together. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
