CREAMY CAJUN STEAK ALFREDO
Spicy Cajun steak with creamy Alfredo pasta.
Ingredients:
For the Steak:
– 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), sliced into strips
– 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
For the Alfredo Pasta:
– 12 oz fettuccine pasta
– 2 cups heavy cream
– 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
– 2 tbsp butter
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 small onion, diced
– 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
– Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season steak strips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook the steak until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and onion, sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
4. Pour in the heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and let cook for 3-4 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.
7. Return the cooked steak strips to the skillet, mixing them with the pasta.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
