2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
Pasta:
8 ounces fettuccine or your choice of pasta

Instructions:
Prepare the Pasta:
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some of the pasta water for later.
Cook the Chicken:
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, then slice into strips.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is creamy and cheese melts.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
Combine Pasta and Sauce:
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly. Heat through, ensuring the pasta is hot and well-coated with sauce.
Serve:
Plate the pasta and top with sliced chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese.
Serve immediately, offering a warm, comforting bowl of creamy pasta.
