Flavor-Packed Mississippi Pot Roast
Craving a comforting, melt-in-your-mouth dinner? This Flavor-Packed Mississippi Pot Roast is a Southern classic that’s tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. It’s an easy, hands-off meal that will have your family asking for seconds!
 Ingredients:
• 3-4 lbs chuck roast
• 1 packet ranch dressing mix
• 1 packet au jus gravy mix
• 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter
• 6-8 pepperoncini peppers
• 1 tbsp olive oil (optional for searing)
• Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

 Directions:
1. Optional Step: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chuck roast on all sides until browned, about 4-5 minutes per side. This adds extra flavor, but can be skipped for convenience.
2. Place the chuck roast in a slow cooker. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the top.
3. Add the butter on top of the roast, followed by the pepperoncini peppers (you can also add a splash of the pepperoncini juice for extra tang).
4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the roast is tender and falls apart easily.
5. Once done, shred the meat with two forks and mix it with the juices in the slow cooker. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or alongside roasted veggies for a delicious meal.
6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and enjoy!
