Cream Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Doritos Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
Salt and pepper to taste
Crushed Doritos for coating (choose your favorite flavor!)
Optional: oil or butter for better Dorito adhesion
Instructions:
Preheat & Prep:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Mix the Filling:
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon. Season with salt and pepper. Stir until well blended.
Prepare the Chicken:
Cut a pocket into each chicken breast, being careful not to slice through the other side.
Stuff & Coat:
Generously fill each chicken pocket with the cream cheese mixture.
For an extra crunchy crust, coat the stuffed chicken breasts in crushed Doritos. Tip: brush lightly with oil or melted butter for better adhesion.
Bake:
Place the Dorito-coated chicken in the prepared dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked (internal temp of 165°F or 75°C).
Rest & Serve:
Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing to keep it juicy.
