Garlic Chicken Lasagna Twirls
Ingredients:
10 cooked lasagna noodles
2 cups pulled chicken
2 cups ricotta cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup white sauce
1 beaten egg
1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Chicken Filling:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the pulled chicken, ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, beaten egg, fresh basil, salt, and black pepper. Stir everything together until it’s well mixed and creamy.
Assemble the Twirls:
Take each cooked lasagna noodle and spread an even layer of the chicken mixture on top. Once spread, roll the noodle tightly from one end to the other. Arrange these lasagna rolls in a greased baking dish, ensuring the bottom is lined with a little white sauce to prevent sticking.
Add Sauce and Cheese:
Pour the remaining white sauce over the rolled lasagna twirls. Generously sprinkle the shredded mozzarella on top, covering all the rolls.
Bake to Perfection:
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly, melted, and golden brown.
Serve & Enjoy:
Garnish the lasagna twirls with fresh basil. Serve them hot with a green salad for a complete meal.
