Ingredients:
For the Rolls:
• 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
• 8 oz cream cheese, softened
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
• 1 tablespoon lemon zest (optional)
For the Glaze:
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 2 tablespoons milk
• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the blueberries and lemon zest, if using.
3. Assemble the Rolls: Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles. Spoon a generous tablespoon of the cheesecake mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Carefully roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end, and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
4. Bake: Bake the rolls for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the filling is set.
5. Make the Glaze: While the rolls are baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make a smooth glaze.
6. Glaze and Serve: Once the rolls are out of the oven and slightly cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top. Serve warm and enjoy the delicious mix of sweet blueberries and creamy cheesecake filling!
